This coming Friday and Saturday (October 5 & 6) we’ll be attending the second edition of ToRo Fest, art, music, and books festival in the heart of Toronto. Come and enjoy good music, interesting art, book launches, and fantastic panels and workshops on the hottest topics in today’s arts and literature.
I will conduct a workshop on “The 5 Steps to Get Published in North America”.
North America is the largest book market in the world and it is as different from any European market as it is the toughest to crack. In this workshop, I will explain the 5 necessary steps a writer (either a native-English speaker or not) needs to take in order to enter the North-American market and one extra step after selling the first book to turn writing into a career.
And together with Vali, we’ll organize an ABSOLUTISM game session.
ABSOLUTISM is a party card game that presents players with unfathomable scenarios of daily life in a totalitarian society to which they have to offer solutions. But as no sane solutions can save you in a real dictatorship, in ABSOLUTISM the players’ solutions will be absurd and funny.
So, come to our Gulag inside the Fest and try this way of life for yourself, before our world’s dictators will impose it on you.
