Since January 2017 I changed my office. I moved to the Toronto Reference Library. I know, you’d say that you’ve seen me there before. That’s true. My favorite floor being the fifth. But now, my office is in… the Writers Room.

Yes, you heard me right—the Writers Room.

The Toronto Public Library has created a space with cubicles and lockers, and even a dining room for writers. It’s quiet, plenty of room to spread your papers on a big desk, Wi-Fi, lots of sockets, and even lockers to lock in your stuff in case you need to get out to buy a coffee.

I love it! I’m in an office environment with all its advantages and without that feeling of corporate pressure.
