It’s been a while since we had a weekend to ourselves. No work, no running around the entire weekend. Just fun. And you may wonder how is it a triathlon since there are only two days in a  weekend. Well, that is a matter of perception. Our weekend started on Saturday and ended on Monday, although we worked on Monday, but…

— Saturday — 100m of Dinner Speed.

We celebrated a friend’s birthday at Richmond Station and had Deer Steak. Now. That. Was. A. Treat. Yes, we also had Lamb Tartare, and Duck Three Ways, and some other delicacies, but the Venison Steak was… I don’t have words. Let’s say superb.

— Sunday — 1000m of Show Swimming.

We’ve been to “A Conversation with Ellen DeGeneres” at the Scotiabank Arena. Although I like her, I’m not a fan. But this conversation was interesting and motivational. We found out a lot about her that probably her fans knew, but we didn’t. We really enjoyed it. And as swimming goes, we felt pretty good at the end.

— Monday — 3000m Concert Marathon.

On Monday night we went back to Scotiabank Arena for a concert!

In the opening we had an hour of Toronto’s own Three Days Grace, which was REALLY good.

And after that, an awesome show with the one and only Disturbed. They moved us more than we thought it was possible. And if the first part of the show was good, the second part was gorgeous. After we crossed the Finish line on Monday at 10:30pm like the champions we are, we felt that the weekend has ended and that we can finally start out week. Yeah, we didn’t get the gold medal, but we’ve clearly won the silver.
